Video didn't say which boat was windward or is there some visual clue I didn't get that would tell me which mast was on the one that got passed.

I know I'd want the short mast if the wind was 20+.

The tall mast one was windward. The filming boat has the tall mast. I just noticed the transition effect at the end cut off the visual clue. Here's a video showing the other boat where you can see it's got the taller mast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqqaBjK-53I

Long mast is faster.
I have two sails.  One for 22" one for 18" and i used them both.
The 22" is faster in low winds  but unsecure when wind is  higher than 13-15 knots  ( appr).
The 18"  is slower in low winds ( not much , but slower) , but boat is very stable in high  winds
