Cement boat ramp
« on: April 18, 2017, 03:12:12 PM »
My harbor does not allow us to use the sand beach  anymore. We have to use public cement ramp. I have a wheeleez cart. Can you rig boat  except sail on cart. To make it faster so others wont get mad. It takes a good 20 mins to rig. Then just wheel down. Or ?? What about sailing  sailing into a cement ramp.??? Please any info for a tango will be appreciated  :)

Hi Toot,

I pretty much drag my tango over whatever I need to in order to get it into the water, it's pretty darn tough.  I wouldn't worry about sailing onto a cement ramp, I'd just shoot for a soft landing (i.e. don't come in too fast)

You could rig the boat including the sail on the cart, and then either just leave the sail totally loose, or roll the sail around the mast until you launch.

Enjoy!
