Are there any places which rent out WR17s in the Florida Keys?

I don't know if there still are, but there were some in the Key Largo/Tavernier area in 2015.  Actually, it's hard to find places that rent small sailboats on the entire east coast of Florida, though there are some that rent Hobie Waves in Palm Beach County (DelRay Beach), Broward County, Dade County, and the Keys, plus some that rent (or used to rent) W17s in the Keys.

@WSRK - do you know the names of the places which rent out Hobie Waves?

Seamonkeys of Islamorada is one place that was renting Hobie Waves as late at 2016, so I assume they're still doing it. Just google "who rents hobie waves in the keys", and they come up, along with various others. Delray Beach Water Sports rents them in DelRay Beach, which is in Broward County. Hobie Wave Catamaran Rental is in Key Biscayne, near Miami. You shouldn't have a problem finding Waves to rent ... enjoy!

Meanwhile, have fun with your Windrider 17!

Correction: DelRay Beach is in Palm Beach County, not Broward County.

Aloha watersports rents Hobie waves in Ft Lauderdale, which is in Broward County. Also, the US Sailing Center in Martin County rents them, so you now have Hobie Wave rental locations in four counties to choose from!
