Seaclipper 20 trimaran for sale
« on: March 31, 2010, 07:14:13 AM »
I am  building 2 Seaclipper 20 trimarans in my shop. They will be available for sale in May. The study plans for this great new design of Jim Brown/John Marples can be downloaded free of charge at www.seaworthysolutions.net . Anyone interested in buying one or learning more about building their own trailerable trimaran can contact me there.

I am in process of inquiring about details.  Such as type of plywood, thickness and will the exterior be glassed?
Aka material?

Sorry, compared to the 17 that is u-g-l-y. Yard does nice work though.

Krink, Feel free to call or e-mail me about pricing on the Seaclipper 20. As to the u-g-l-y comment from the previous poster, at least he will only have to look at her transom for a short period of time.[especially when going upwind]

We have another Seaclipper 20 to build before we start on a 24 Daysailer. Had to take a break from trimarans for a few weeks to build a 44 foot birdsmouth mast for a Bueler Dragonfly. Looks like Bill in AU. might finish his first.[ if he gets off the internet!] There should be another 20 nearing completion in Texas.

Just got word I'll be getting a DVD from Jim Brown concerning the Seaclipper.  Maybe in a week.  I'll try to convert and post it ASAP.

Ha ha, he is making progress. I think he might have one on the water in the foreseeable future. I am rooting for him. Although I must admit I am disappointed I could not talk him into flying me over there to work on it for him ;)

Not that sounds like a plan. Actually, I would be all for being the roving SC builder ;D

I personally hate fiberglass, so I'll keep you in mind for any Seaclippers that get ordered that are to be built out of woven roving. Thanks for the offer!
